Intensive Russian Attacks Disrupt Electricity Throughout Kyiv

Power facilities under attack in Ukraine
Ukraine's power facilities have come under escalating attacks in the past few days

Overnight, Moscow's aerial assaults have led to electricity outages in multiple districts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Several individuals were injured while inhabitants in eastern neighborhoods were left without electricity and encountered disruption to drinking water, as stated by city officials.

At the same time, a minor was killed in a separate assault in the southeastern region in the southern area, based on information from regional authorities.

Moscow has escalated attacks on power infrastructure over the last fortnight, while the country's government has demanded "concrete actions" from allies to increase pressure on Moscow.

"The necessity is not superficial actions but firm measures - from the US, Europe and the G7 - in delivering defensive weapons and applying restrictions," he wrote in a social media post.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen missiles struck energy facilities, describing such strikes as "cynical and calculated" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and technical staff were striving to fix the damage.

A wave of strikes hit power facilities and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people hurt in the strikes on the city have been hospitalized, according to local officials.

Regional authorities said the city came under heavy assaults throughout the evening. A seven-year-old child was killed and several individuals were wounded.

The strikes follow nights of aerial attacks in the area, parts of which are currently controlled by Russian forces.

All of Ukraine is under warning for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to detect.

National leaders told the media that Moscow was deliberately attempting to destroy the national power system, with attacks already affecting gas facilities.

Officials stated technical personnel and authorities were preparing for more assaults.
